HTTP 503-Service Unavailable error in SharePoint - HTTPERR log

C:\WINDOWS\system32\LogFiles\HTTPERR

HTTP/1.1 GET / 503 565877983 Disabled

The above problem can be fixed by recyling the associated application pool and restting IIS.
